Casahierro Abogados, Lima, Peru — External Counsel (2018)
Served as external advisor on matters of unfair competition and economic competition. Supported the Intellectual Property department in cases involving potential unfair competition violations, specifically related to the misappropriation of trade secrets involving two of the firm's clients, and in evaluating the merits of legal action related to the suspension of an exclusive distribution agreement for an international athletic footwear brand.

At the first and second procedural stages, he was responsible for drafting complaints and preparing the case in collaboration with the litigation department. His role primarily involved providing general advisory services in economic competition matters.

ESC+G Abogados, S.C. — Legal Advisor (January 2015 – Present)

Served as legal advisor to the Municipality, heading the main legal office and overseeing a team of approximately 18 attorneys plus administrative staff.

Responsibilities included issuing legal opinions and providing counsel on matters related to public procurement, labor law, constitutional law, and a variety of contractual issues.

Municipality of Sucre, Miranda State, Venezuela — Legal Advisor (January 2009 – December 2014)

Led the municipality’s main legal office, managing a team of approximately 18 attorneys and support staff.

Provided legal opinions and strategic advice on public procurement, labor law, constitutional issues, and general contractual matters.

Macleod Dixon S.C. — Legal Advisor (April 2005 – January 2009)

Held a leadership role in the municipality’s legal department, directing a team of legal professionals and administrative staff.

Responsible for legal analysis and advisory in the areas of public procurement, labor and constitutional law, and complex contractual matters.

Hoet Peláez Castillo & Duque Abogados — Legal Advisor (November 2004 – April 2005)

Served in a similar capacity as legal advisor to the municipality, managing legal affairs and a multidisciplinary legal team.
