With more than 50 years of experience, Dr. Ramón Escovar León is a Venezuelan authority in cassation, private law, civil and labor litigation, commercial arbitration and constitutional procedural law. Additionally, he is a member of the Academy of Political and Social Sciences,  the Venezuelan Institute of Social Law and is part of our dispute resolution team.

Leader of our Arbitration practice, he is also a recognized arbitrator in both domestic and international disputes.

With a solid background in the legal field, Juan Andrés Suárez Otaola stands out for his comprehensive approach to corporate, commercial, corporate and business law.

His practice focuses on providing strategic advice to both national and foreign investments, covering key areas such as the exchange control regime, startups, consortia and joint ventures, franchising, dispute management and alternative dispute resolution, as well as in connection with sanctions imposed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States of America (OFAC).

He leads the Litigation and Civil Law area in our firm. He advises our clients in litigation matters, arbitration, drafting of contracts and complex negotiations.

He leads the area of Labor and Employment in our firm. In addition, he is an expert in Private International Law, which includes international litigation, international contracts and International Family Law.

His practice is oriented towards antitrust law and economic regulation. Relevant experience in the area of energy and mining law and public procurement in Venezuela. Author of several publications in peer-reviewed journals.

He works primarily in the areas of Civil Law, Labor & Employment Law, Litigation, Arbitration, and Dispute Resolution.

Lawyer with more than 15 years of experience, he focuses his practice in areas such as economic regulatory law, foreign exchange and commercial and investment arbitration at national and international level. He is an arbitrator of the Arbitration Center of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce (CACCC). He is currently a professor of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and Universidad Metropolitana.
